Mobberley: The Church Inn

photo: Mobberley Church Inn

So named because it’s across from the Church in Mobberley. One source said that it’s been a public house since the mid-15th century. I’m astonished to think that people have been sitting here, just as we are, eating and drinking even before Columbus set foot in the Americas. If a restaurant in Austin is 30 years old, we find that amazing.
