I did and came away with six new books for under $30.00. The shipment arrived just before the ice storm, so I&#8217;ve been snuggling under a quilt on the couch in front of the fireplace with this stack of books.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My Asakasa: Coming of Age in Pre-War Tokyo. Saikaku Ihara.<\/li>\n<li>Harukor: An Ainu Woman&#8217;s Tale. Honda Katsuichi.<\/li>\n<li>A Lady&#8217;s Life in the Rocky Mountains. Isabella Bird.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nAll except <i>Tamsin<\/i> are somehow related to Japan. Isabella Bird also wrote Unbeaten Tracks in Japan about her trip solo through Japan in 1878. I bought <i>Tamsin<\/i> because Peter S. Beagle&#8217;s <i>The Last Unicorn<\/i> has been one of my favorite books since I first read it in high school.\n<\/p>\n<p><!-- 2016-10-25 10:17.
