The corollary being that those who give up aren&#8217;t true gardeners. With <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zanthan.com\/gardens\/gardenlog\/?p=2385\">my defiance gone<\/a>, I find myself among those winnowed out. I can barely muster the interest to walk around and inventory what&#8217;s blooming today. Well, I&#8217;ve always said that I was not a gardener who likes to write but a writer who likes to garden. Today, I&#8217;m a writer who would prefer to be doing something else.\n<\/p>\n<h4>New for August<\/h4>\n<p>There are no new plants blooming for August.<\/p>\n<h4>Between GBBDs<\/h4>\n<p>Two flowers bloomed between GBBDs and so didn&#8217;t show up in the inventory for either July or August: okra and datura.
