This kimono followed me home.
A long walk to Japantown…lunch at a floating sushi restaurant…book-buying at Kinokuniya…the stationers…sushi for dinner.
I must admit that I had no idea of the size of Golden Gate Park nor of its history when I first came to wander in it unexpectedly…My preference for exploring any place on foot, without a map or a guide book, keeps me alert to anything I may encounter and in a constant state of surprise. –Chiang Yee “The Silent Traveller in San Francisco”

10:00. Every city, every place I suppose, has its own rhythm. Learning to flow with the dance in the streets takes time. I’m up very late this morning.
