The I in the Workplace
by M Sinclair Stevens. April 11, 2006.

Reviewing my resume, I realized that every major place I've worked has been named with a 3-letter initialization that includes the letter "I".

IRS: Internal Revenue Service
CCI: Cooperative Computing, Inc.
MEI: Mizobe Educational Institute
DIR: Department of Information Resources
ETI: Evolutionary Technologies, Inc.

Strange to see my life summed up like this. What would happen if I broke the symmetry?
