2005-02-06. Skyline: Austin, Texas.

After an early morning rain, AJM and I took a Sunday walk around Town Lake and he asked me to snap this gloomy photo of the Austin skyline. It reminds me of a scene from a science fiction movie where the city is emptied of people.

I can hardly believe the shot of Austin - it looks more like hte north-west of the U.K. to me. That misty gloom is fairly commonplace here

Wait a minute. I took that picture. You didn't want to go for a walk in the rain.

You know, when I first saw the photo, I thought, "Oh this is the one AJM took." But I couldn't be sure and you were off at work unavailable for comment. And then the story of going on a walk together was so appealing, I went with my imagined version.

Margaret, it just occured to me that you might have read the date as June 2 rather than February 6. I get confused with all these different date formats. AJM advised me to just spell it out.
