Technical Difficulties

NASA is not the only one experiencing technical difficulties. I haven't been able to post much because my PowerBook display has been erratic these last ten days. Sometimes it doesn't work at all and sometimes it fades away, taking the cursor control with it.

I just finished the Aubrey/Maturin series (or rather the last six books in the series...now I will have to begin at the beginning). And I'm currently inspired by The Hand-Sculpted House to build a little cob cottage in my back yard. So I do have stuff to write about, when I can.

Until then, I will have to rely on others making good on the New Year's resolutions to fill up these pages for awhile. Dana has finished her series Traveling With Horses. I've cajoled Cathy to begin posting her book, rumored thick enough to stun an ox, if the tale be told, and finagled some more stories from Bets Nevada.

Yes, I do stop by from time to time and visit your garden. It is very beautiful and the knowledge that you are working the earth with such love, and such wonderful results, is comforting and gives me a sense of connectedness with you.
The search for a home in the desert goes on. I keep getting outbid. But patience is a virtue. Much love from me to all of you.
Matt
