オーシテンも梅雨になります。私は昨日写真を取りました。去年の写真を見たら、同じですけど。

夏休み漢字を勉強しています。今日雨が降るんですから、この漢字勉強しています。

• 雨「あめ」the rain
• 雪「ゆき」the snow. Rain that has changed form and can be swept with a broom. This always reminds me of Kiyo, shoveling snows in Hokkaido.
• 雷電「らいでん」thunder and lightning. You can distinguish between these kanji if you remember that the lightning has the tail, like a lightning bolt.
• 露 「ロ」exposed (to the elements). Imagine trudging up the footpath 路 under the rain 雨。For example, 露天風呂「ろてんぶろ」, an outdoor (exposed to the sky) bath; also「つゆ」the dew.
• 雲「くも」a cloud or clouds
• 曇り「くもり」to be or become cloudy weather; used as a suffix for various type of cloud formations
• 霜「しも」frost
