しばらくは、ブログ（ブロッグ）を書かないでおこう。Give a time frame might be better, shibaraku.
書かないで（ください）is when you demand someone else.

Yeah. We haven't learned anything but the formal past and non-past tenses, yet. I didn't really want to use the imperative (command form). Even in English saying "Stop writing on the blog." isn't the same as "Must...stop...blogging..."
Bye the way, is ブロッグする a verb in Japanese yet? I think "to blog" became a verb in English last year--although most people I talk to have no idea what I mean when I say it.
