The Diary of Samuel Pepys is now online. (It is being posted on a daily basis in weblog format with annotations and links to people and places of the time.) Pepys was an Englishman. In 1660, he began writing this famous diary of London life and people. The English of the diary might be a little difficult, but it is very interesting.

この日記は４３年前の同じ日の出来事が読めるのですね。面白いアイディアですね。
この日記はいつまで続くのでしょうか。１９６１年の終わりごろまで続きますか？自分が生まれた日のことがわかるといいな、と思いました(ははは、年がばれました）。

ちょっとすみません。あなたの日本語はわかりません。
This is what I figured out...please correct me.
"I went to the Pepys site. This diary is written 43 years before the current date." (Actually it's written in 1660, not 1960. So it it written 443 years before the current date.) "The site has an interesting audio link."
"This diary always continues. Around 1961 it will finish?" (The diary is ten years long and the person doing this web site wants to continue the project for 10 years.)
"As for me, I was born in that year. (1961). I should understand this. Actually the year is a secret."
As you can see, I have no idea what you actually wrote. I did try. Would translate your comment for me. おねがいします。
