質問とコメント
1. I'm bored and frustrated and tired of studying.
2. The house is a mess.
3. It's cold and rainy.
4. I miss Alex (who's in Seattle) and Joseph (who's in Chicago).
5. The holidays are upon us and I want to write about that. But I don't have the words. I can say, "The book is on the table." though. That's a long way from being able to talk about the various ways to celebrate Christmas and growing up Catholic in a Protestant nation. I'll give it a try, though...tomorrow.

I guess your son will be back soon. My husband will be back tomorrow but because of the snowstorm in NYC, he said he had his flight changed into another one and would reach here later than scheduled.
I have to clean up tomorrow morning.
I think borrowed words in Japanese are difficult to write.

Thanks, everyone, for the encouragement.
Yes, my son will return today. I received a postcard from him yesterday and he said Chicago was very, very cold.
Eri, I spent all day yesterday cleaning house and will do some more today. This house is old and still looks dingy even after it's been cleaned. When I'm scrubbing floors, I wish that Americans had the sense of the Japanese to take their shoes off inside!
