One year later, the public knows less about the circumstances of 2,801 deaths at the foot of Manhattan in broad daylight than people in 1912 knew within weeks about the Titanic, which sank in the middle of an ocean in the dead of night. Why haven't we heard more? Perhaps we won't yet be able to find out more about the terrorists but surely we should try and understand why the firefighter's radios didn't work?
